Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Electronics & IT, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, is gearing up to take part in the upcoming pre-Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 event on December 7, 2023.
Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar will be a prominent speaker at the inaugural session of the “Startup Conclave 2023” on Thursday, located at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. This Conclave aims to serve as an interactive platform for startup investors, angel networks, and industry leaders, fostering discussions and exploring potential opportunities within the startup ecosystem. The Minister is expected to engage with startups, investors, and industry leaders during this event.
During his address, the Minister will spotlight India’s impressive strides in nurturing one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems. Drawing from his personal experiences as the founder of BPL Mobile, he will share valuable insights into India’s growth story and economic transformation, highlighting the existing opportunities, skilling initiatives, and mentorship programs implemented by the Narendra Modi Government.
This appearance follows the Minister’s prior engagement in Gujarat at the groundbreaking ceremony organized by Micron, a significant chipmaking company, in September 2023. This momentous event, held at Gujarat’s Sanand industrial area, marked the initiation of construction for the first phase of a $2.75 billion semiconductor packaging facility.
The Vibrant Gujarat Summit, an esteemed biennial event initiated in 2003 under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, is a collaborative effort between the Government of Gujarat, Startup India – Dept for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Electronics & IT, and Dept of Science & Technology. It serves as a key platform for fostering growth, innovation, and investment in India’s vibrant startup ecosystem.
