It offers a comprehensive suite of services including domain registration, DNS, and additional value-added services such as Website as a Service (WaaS) and Learning Management as a Service (LMaaS).
Users of the portal will have the flexibility to choose from a diverse range of templates tailored for schools, colleges, and universities, empowering them to create and manage their websites and Learning Management Systems (LMS). With a simplified process, users can customize templates and effortlessly publish their websites and LMS with just a single click.

During the launch event, Secretary Shri S Krishnan also inaugurated ERNET India’s new conference hall and engaged with officers and staff members, underscoring the significance of this initiative and the ongoing efforts in the realm of technology-driven educational advancements.
ERNET India, a not-for-profit scientific society under MeitY, serves as the exclusive domain registrar for education and research institutes with domain names ending in ‘ac.in’, ‘edu.in’, and ‘res.in’. Beyond domain registration, ERNET India plays a crucial role in providing essential services such as web accessibility, campus Wi-Fi facilities, smart classrooms, and connectivity services through terrestrial and satellite-based systems to educational and research institutions nationwide. Moreover, the society is actively involved in establishing state-of-the-art data centers, showcasing a commitment to enhancing the digital infrastructure of educational setups.
The launch of this integrated web portal for educational institutes by ERNET India is a commendable step toward enabling institutions to navigate the digital realm effectively. It underscores the government’s commitment to fostering technological innovations in the education sector and empowering educational institutes across the country with digital tools and services. As technology continues to transform education, initiatives like these pave the way for a more accessible, streamlined, and tech-driven learning environment.
