PM Modi to Interact with Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Beneficiaries, Launch Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra & Jan Aushadhi Kendra Expansion

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to engage in an interaction with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on November 30 at 11 AM through video conferencing. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a nationwide initiative aimed at achieving the full reach of flagship government schemes, ensuring their saturation among the intended beneficiaries within a specified timeframe.

A consistent focus of the Prime Minister has been empowering women towards development. In yet another stride in this direction, the Prime Minister will unveil the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra. This program will equip women Self Help Groups (SHGs) with drones, enabling them to utilize this technology for livelihood support. Over the next three years, 15,000 drones will be provided to women SHGs, coupled with essential training for drone operation. This initiative is intended to encourage the integration of technology in the agricultural sector.

Central to the Prime Minister’s vision for a healthy India is the initiative to make healthcare affordable and accessible. A significant step in this direction has been the establishment of Jan Aushadhi Kendra, facilitating the availability of medicines at economical rates. During the forthcoming program, the Prime Minister will dedicate the 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar. Additionally, he will launch a program aimed at expanding the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras across the country from 10,000 to 25,000.

Both these initiatives, including the provision of drones to women SHGs and the expansion of Jan Aushadhi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000, were announced by the Prime Minister during his Independence Day speech earlier this year. The upcoming program marks the fulfillment of these commitments, signifying a significant step towards realizing these promises.
