Amid the celebrations of Navy Day 2023, INS Ranvijay embarked on a significant visit to Kakinada, orchestrating a series of naval outreach initiatives. The ship’s crew organized a myriad of activities, welcoming school children and NCC cadets aboard. The enthusiastic visitors were given insights into weapon handling procedures and introduced to the diverse roles and responsibilities within the Indian Navy.
Furthering their commitment to environmental stewardship, the crew conducted a beach cleanliness drive, underscoring the importance of preserving coastal areas. Additionally, to promote awareness about the Indian Navy, the ship’s crew delivered informative and motivational lectures at two Municipal Higher Secondary Schools in Kakinada. These engagements aimed to inspire and educate the youth about naval service, fostering a deeper understanding of the Indian Navy’s significance and contributions.
