From January 4th to 7th, 2024, the Naval Dockyard in Visakhapatnam proudly showcased its prowess at the 37th National Convention on Quality Concepts (#NCQC), held in Nagpur. Fourteen teams comprising 72 personnel, including 12 women, from the Naval Dockyard actively participated in this prestigious event hosted by the Quality Circle Forum of India (#QCFI). Their remarkable performance stood out among 2,200 teams representing various industries and Public Sector Undertakings (#PSUs) from across the nation.
Out of the 14 teams representing Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam, two were acclaimed as Par Excellence, while 11 teams received the tag of Excellent, and one team was recognized as Meritorious. This exceptional recognition underscores the dedication and commitment of the Naval Dockyard’s personnel towards achieving excellence in quality repairs and refitting works of ships and submarines.
