The forthcoming visit of the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, to Maharashtra from November 29 to December 2, 2023, promises a series of significant events and engagements across various locations within the state.
The visit will commence on November 29 with the President inaugurating a national conference titled ‘Integration of Yoga in School Education System-Manifesting the thought’, organized by Kaivalyadham. This event is part of the institution’s centenary year celebrations and will take place at Lonavala. Later that evening, Smt Droupadi Murmu will grace the Presidential Dinner held at the National Defence Academy in Khadakwasla.
November 30 will witness the President’s presence at the Passing Out Parade of the 145th Course of the National Defence Academy, where she will also lay the foundation stone for a building of the upcoming 5th Battalion.
Moving on to December 1, the President is scheduled to present the President’s Colour to the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune. Additionally, she will virtually inaugurate the Armed Forces Centre for Computational Medicine known as ‘Prajna’. Simultaneously, she will inaugurate the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Government Medical College in Nagpur.
The concluding day of the visit, December 2, will see the President gracing the 111th convocation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, which will be held in Nagpur.
