Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Distribute 51,000 Appointment Letters: Empowering Youth Through Employment Initiatives

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant initiative by distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals on November 30, 2023, at 4 PM, utilizing the platform of video conferencing. This momentous event will also witness the Prime Minister addressing the newly appointed candidates on this notable occasion.

The Rozgar Mela, which will be conducted at 37 locations across the country, signifies a massive recruitment drive supported by both Central Government Departments and various State Governments/Union Territories. These fresh recruits, hailing from diverse regions of the country, will be joining various Ministries and Departments, including but not limited to the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Ministry of Labour & Employment.

This strategic initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to prioritize employment generation, reflecting the government’s emphasis on this critical aspect of national development. The Rozgar Mela aims to catalyze further employment opportunities, empowering the youth and enabling their active participation in the country’s progress.

These newly appointed individuals, equipped with innovative ideas and job-specific skills, are anticipated to play a pivotal role in fortifying the nation’s industrial, economic, and social development. Their contributions will actively contribute towards realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India, or ‘Viksit Bharat.’

Moreover, the newly recruited individuals will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through ‘Karmayogi Prarambh,’ an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This resource offers access to more than 800 e-learning courses, facilitating learning in an ‘anywhere, any device’ format, enabling these individuals to continually develop and improve their competencies.

This endeavor signifies a crucial step towards not only providing employment but also nurturing a skilled workforce capable of driving India’s progress across various sectors, in line with the Prime Minister’s vision for a prosperous and empowered nation.
