The Ministry of Coal extends its gratitude to the Rail Ministry for delivering an impressive 444 rakes of domestic coal to the power sector as of January 15, 2024—the highest in the current fiscal year. This remarkable feat has significantly contributed to building coal stocks at Thermal Power Plants (TPPs), reaching 33.66 million tonnes as of January 14, 2024. This marks a substantial growth of 12.88% compared to the corresponding period in the last fiscal year.
