Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, launched a portal developed by NAFED and NCCF for tur dal farmers. In a symposium on ‘Self-reliance in Pulses,’ he highlighted its significance in facilitating advance registration for tur dal sales, ensuring payments at MSP or market rates through DBT. Shah envisioned this initiative as a game-changer for farmers’ prosperity and India’s self-reliance in pulses. He emphasized the need for farmers to register with NAFED and NCCF, assuring them fair prices and substantial support, ultimately aiming to make India self-sufficient in the pulses sector.
